Varsity men fall to Cistercian 4-1

The HSAA varsity family got together for a bit o' Holiday Footie this past Thursday, and we even invited the distant relatives of the Junior Varsity over for the party.  A good time was had by all, but the rowdy neighbors over at Cistercian crashed the party for a 4-1 over the jolly men in red.

The night started well as Angus Herndon scored an early goal, on a long shot after a great through pass, giving HSAA the 1-0 lead.

The Angels held that lead for quite a bit of the first half, but eventually the Hawks began to assert their dominance in the midfield and increase their scoring chances;  by the halftime break, Cistercian was ahead 2-1.

The Hawks added two more in the second half to finish out the scoring, as the Angels were never able to counter their ball movement and elbows.
