The JV Angels suffered a 2-0 defeat to St. Mark's on a chilly night under the Friday night lights in Dallas.  St. Mark's came out in the first half and dominated the midfield play, putting enormous pressure on the defense and GK Matthew Welch, resulting in a 1-0 lead for the home side at halftime.

HSAA came out in the second half and did a better job of applying pressure in the offensive half of the pitch, but St. Mark's rapid transition and precise switching spread the Angel's defense as the Lions netted a second goal to seal the win.

Peter Byrd and Stephen Hoegenhauer led the offensive effort with 2 shots on goal each.
