JV Men fall to Prestonwood 2-1

Despite an aggressive effort that produced 18 shots on goal, the JV Angels lost to Prestonwood Christian on a chilly Monday afternoon.    PCA opened the scoring on a breakaway, when their shooter got the ball around GK Matthew Welch, striking the back corner of the goal.

HSAA tied the score on a goal by Niko Saucedo to even the score by the halftime whistle.

In the second half, PCA scored the go-ahead goal on a cross to a backdoor striker.  The JV men kept the pressure on the Lions for the rest of the match, creating a flurry of great chances in their end of the pitch, but were just not able to put one in the net.
