For the second time in 2 days, the Varsity side for the Angels trekked all the way over to the far west side of Fort Worth, but the result was a bit less satisfying, as they settled for a 2-2 draw with the Falcons of Fort Worth Country Day.

FWCD opened the scoring in the 14th minute, but Trevor equalized that score 9 minutes later, when he dribbled solo through a crowd of defenders, and took a shot just inside the penalty area, the skittered under the hands of the Falcons stopper.

Later in the first half, Ollie Wells took a beautiful free kick by Darius Morgan and converted it from the right side of the goal to give the Angels a 2-1 lead.

In the second half, the Falcons were able to tie it up; from that point on the teams battled furiously to try avoid "kissing their sister", but HSAA was never able to crack the Falcon defense and their feisty little keeper.

Special shout-out for play that might not show up in the stat sheet:

Sportsmanship shout-out to the FWCD goalkeeper, who was a little on the smaller side, but played huge in goal.
