Varsity defeats Prince of Peace 8-0

The Varsity faced off against Prince of Peace on a chilly night in Carrollton, but HSAA promptly heated things up, as Mark Trompeter notched a goal in the third minute off an assist from Brock Jolley.  Brock then found the net himself at the 7' mark after an assist from Jason Goodin; minutes later Brock served one up to Jhalen Sheffield.   Jhalen then teed up for Jason Goodin, completing the 4-goal circle just before half.

In the second half, HSAA took the opportunity for some cross-training, as players moved to different positions on the field.   Nano Martinez started off the second half scoring with an assist from Brock, and Jon Koehl scored off of an Austin Cue assist.  Jhalen Sheffield added his second on a solo goal after a steal.  With Nathan Byrd taking a turn in goal during the second half, Jonathan Eubanks got to dish out what he normally stops, scoring unassisted for the game's final goal at the 33' mark.
