Trompeter/Sheffield lead the way in 8-0 victory over Dallas Christian

The Varsity Boys' side posted an 8-0 victory against Dallas Christian, led by Mark Trompeter's hat trick and a pair of goals from Jhalen Sheffield.

Mark opened the scoring in the 20th minute, taking a feed from Shayne Silvey that put him one-on-one with the opposing keeper.   Jhalen Sheffield added a goal (assist Trompeter) as the first half wound down, sending HSAA to the 'locker grass' with a 2-0 lead.

The Angels came out strong in the second, with Brock Jolley scoring 30 seconds in on another assist by Mark.  Two minutes later, Mark scored his second goal on a rebound of a Shayne Silvey shot.  Three minutes after that, Mark notched his hat trick with some help from Tim Wood.

Jhalen then netted his second score (assist Jolley); Nano Martinez decided to get in on all the fun a few minutes later, as Nathan Byrd assisted.

And last, but certainly not least, Shayne Silvey was fouled in the penalty area, and put the PK away for the final goal.  Shayne also contributed a team-high 9 passes and two assists for a strong outing.

The defense posted its usual workman's effort, and goalkeeper Jonathan Eubanks was only forced to make one save all night.
