Trompeter hat trick leads Varsity past Parish Episcopal

The Varsity side returned to the win column with a solid defeat of Parish Episcopal, 4-2 on the back of hat trick by Mark Trompeter.

It was Brock Jolley, though,  that opened the scoring, netting it in the 20th minute on an assist from Matthew Harris.  Just before the half ended, Nathan Byrd served it up to Mark, who sent it over the goalkeeper for his first goal, sending HSAA to the break up 2-0.

The Angels came out roaring in the second half, with Mark Trompeter scoring his second at the 47' mark, on an assist from Tim Wood.

10 minutes later, Parish netted a goal on a ball that just squeaked through the defense.

Trompeter scored again in the 74th minute for the final HSAA goal, before Parish added their last on a corner.

Goalkeeper Jonathan Eubanks made a huge contribution to the win with 8 saves against the Parish side.
