Varsity opens POP tournament with 6-0 win over Covenant Christian

The Varsity boys opened the Prince of Peace Winter Tournament with a 'peachy' 6-0 win over Covenant Christian.

Once again, Brock Jolley opened the scoring in the 4th minute, stealing a distribution from the Covenant keeper and putting it back to score.  30 seconds later, HSAA struck again to make it a quick 2-0 lead for the Angels.

Brock then added his second goal, and Mark Trompeter lasered in a shot after a deflection assist from Nano Martinez to finish off the first half 4-0.

In the second half, Luke Truetkin got in on the scoring with a header on a Nano Martinez corner at the 68' mark.   Brayden Silvey then added the final goal on yet another assist from Nano Martinez.
