Varsity defeats Daniel Academy 2-0 in first Nationals match

The HSAA varsity men opened their 2016 Nationals run with a decisive 2-0 victory over Daniel Academy.  The Angels put the pressure on their opening opponent from the first whistle, and Angus Herndon netted the first goal only 2 minutes into the match.

The Angels continued to have their play day in the Daniel end of the field, and GK Grant Zanatell was only forced to make one save on the day as the offense kept the HSAA defense pretty much out of business.

Caleb McDaniel opened the second half with a goal in the 43rd minute to complete the scoring for the match.
