It all ends with ice cream

The 2016 HSAA Nationals Tournament trip is in its final moments.  The teams finished their games on Saturday, then met in the parking lot for the presentation of the trophies, plaques and All-Tournament medals.

The varsity team wrapped up their day first and was presented the Silver Soccer Ball for 2nd place in the 6A division.

The All-Tournament players for the varsity side were:

A couple of hours later, the JV men wrapped up their day, receiving the 2nd place award for the 4A bracket.

Afterwards, some of the team opted for hotel or home, but a goodly group convened at the nearby Braums for one last chance at some communal grub and fellowship.  Everyone looked pretty tired and hungry and just ready to call it a day.  After ingesting some food, of course.

At the end of the day (or should that be 'end of the weekend'), the HSAA men played hard, comported themselves with dignity and class, and continued to uphold the ideals of these teams and these coaches.
