HSAA dominates North Lamar 4-0 in Hwy5 Tourney

The HSAA Varsity side opened the second day of the Highway 5 Invitational Tournament early... and very cold, but came away with a 4-0 drubbing of North Lamar for their second win of the tournament.

Trevor Mrochek opened the scoring in the 12th minute on an assist by Peter Byrd.

Ollie Wells scored 2 goals for a 2nd consecutive game:  the first at the 16' mark on a feed from Stephen Hoegenhauer, and then again six minutes later unassisted.

Peter Byrd rounded out the scoring with an unassisted goal on looping back-post, upper-90 shot in the 69th minute.

The Angel's offense and defense was so dominant that North Lamar never really threatened, and GK Matthew Welch only had to make 4 saves to notch the clean sheet.
