The boys in red ran into a buzzsaw of stiff wind and crisp passing in their 3rd match of the Highway 5 tournament, falling 4-2 to Frisco Lebanon Trail.

HSAA had the wind at their back in the first half, and opened the scoring in the 12th minute, when Angus Hendon headed in a goal from a corner kick by Ollie Wells.  That goal stood as the only scoring in the first half.

In the second half, the Angels were facing that wind, and Lebanon Trail began to dominate the game with their ground passing, while the Angels struggled to control the ball.  Lebanon evened the score 1-1 when a failed defensive clearance gave a Lebanon striker a point-blank one-on-one with the Angels GK.

Lebanon's second goal came on an own goal off an errant header that the wind lifted over GK Matthew Welch, who stumbled and was unable to catch up with the unexpected floater.

At the 56' mark, HSAA was awarded a PK on a very rare foul call, and Darius Morgan netted the attempt to even the score at 2-2.

The rest of the game belonged almost entirely to Lebanon Trail, as they continued to control the ball in the midfield and the Angel's defensive area;  two goals in a minute's time put the game away.

GK Matthew Welch made 14 saves in face of the offensive onslaught by Lebanon.
