The Varsity Angels finished up their first day at Nationals with a 8-0 victory over the Denver Eagles in a closely contested and very physical match.

Early play was very tight, with Denver holding HSAA scoreless for at least 15 minutes, but eventually our boys cracked their defense with crisp passes and great usage of space.

The offense spread the wealth around, with 6 players booking a goal apiece, and Gabe Johnson providing 2 more to run his daily total to 6.

On the defensive side, HSAA shut down the Eagles, and keeper Grant Zanetell was only forced to make 3 saves to preserve his second clean sheet of the day.
