Varsity takes 3rd place with win over Grandview Christian 4-0

The Varsity Angels finished off their 2015 Nationals with a decisive 4-0 win over Grandview Christian.   The first goal came on a free kick by Daniel Kim, who bent the ball into the net on a beautiful shot.

From that point on, it was all HSAA, although it was a tough physical contest.  Gabe Johnson added 2 more goals to make it 3-0; in the second half, GC was called for a foul in the box, and Gabe Johnson took that kick and converted it for his 10th goal of the tournament.

Sean Fletcher had an outstanding defensive game, despite going up against some very physical play.

With the win, HSAA took 3rd place in the 6A bracket.   Gabe Johnson and Sean Fletcher won the all-tournament awards.
